The National Honor Society recognizes juniors and seniors for their scholarship, leadership, service to the community, and character. To qualify, students need to have a grade point average of 88.0 or higher going into their Junior or Senior year. Qualified students then complete a Candidate Form describing their leadership skills and their service to the community. A Faculty Council of five members reviews the Candidate Forms, and students who meet the standards of the required criteria become members and are inducted at the annual Induction Ceremony.

Meeting Times/Location

Dues: $20.00 each year

Season: Meetings and activities take place throughout the school year. The Induction Ceremony is held in November.

Sign up: Candidate Forms are emailed to qualified juniors or seniors in the summer through students' cpsge.org email accounts. Students must complete and submit the Candidate Form by the requested due date. If selected, members must attend regular meetings, participate in the organization’s activities, and complete 25 hours of service to the community during both their junior and senior year. Members are expected to be role models and set examples for other students in the building.
