Future Business Leaders

Advisor: Ms. Paleologoulos

Purpose: The National Business Honor Society is a division of the National Business Education Association. The NBHS promotes and recognizes academic achievement in business education at the secondary level; fosters and recognizes leadership skills and character development; Helps members grow ethically and socially by promoting and encouraging an interest in business; and encourages member involvement in business service learning initiatives.

Requirements: Junior or senior class standing; current enrollment in or completion of three business course by end of senior year; national minimum standard GPA 3.0 overall (85%); selection by local membership committee.

Meeting Times/Location

Meeting times: Second Tuesday of each month. Room 345

Fees: One-Time Fee: $5.00

Season: September - June

Sign Up: Eligibility letters are distributed in July, and membership is announced mid-September. Induction ceremony is first Thursday in November.

Business Club: Is a subsidiary club under NBHS. It's a club for Freshman, Sophomore, and Juniors who are interested in membership in NBHS or pursuing a career in business after high school, and want to learn and exchange ideas with students with similar goals.
