Career & Technical Education

Career and Technical Education offers the following nine Massachusetts General Laws (MGL) Chapter 731 programs:

Career and Technical Education also offers all District secondary students the opportunity to participate in hybrid hi-tech elective programs such as CISCO, Graphics Communications, Digital Photography and Business and Information Technology.

Articulation agreements are in place with Springfield Technical Community College and Holyoke Community College. The articulation agreements allow students to receive college credit upon successful completion of Career and Technical Education courses.

The Career and Technical Education program is a member of the nationally recognized High Schools That Work network, which enables all students to succeed in high standards core academics taught at the college preparatory level with an equally challenging regimen of technical courses.
